Sy works at Savmart working in the One Hour Photo department, has been working there for years, and has even trained someone to know it all, Sy also has been making extra copies of photos of the Yorkin family, without them knowing. He starts to have a collection of there family photos on his wall, some few hundred of them. When Sy finds out the husband was cheating on his wife, he follows the husband to a hotel with his mistress, and forces them to have fun, in sexual activities. Sy becomes overly obsessed with this family, and stalks and follows them almost everywhere without them knowing. His work catches on to the photos missing, and fires him, Sy starts to go a little more crazy than he already his, and nearly kills the husband and the mistress. FBI gets involved thinking Sy may attack the mom and son.
This film was pretty fun to watch. Robin Williams plays a really good psychotic/delusional character. It's nice seeing him play a more dark character rather than always funny.
The story was really strong, and it really pulls you into the weirdness and drama of the family and Sy. Soundtrack was also pretty good with only a few songs, but the songs were kind of dark and weird.
All the actors played there part pretty good, my favorite would have to be Williams part, for being a twisted mofo. There really isn't anything bad with this movie, I did hear they cut alot of the scenes and re-shot a bunch of scenes and made a new movie, and shorter, the directors cut is the longer and I'm guessing darker version, should be even better than the theatrical cut.
I give, On Hour Photo. _7/10_

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights
When the sun to the green lantern home becomes a new gateway for, Krona, the lanterns all assemble to stop this massive villain. During the lanterns going to the sun, Hal starts talking to the new Lantern, Arisia Rrab about the stories of the older Lanterns and the very first Lantern, Avra. Soon time passes when Krona is pushing through the sun and it takes almost all the Lanterns to help take it down.
I'm not sure if this one serves as a sequel, or not. Since in this film, Sinestro was still good, before he went yellow, but, it was still fun to watch.
Had a pretty epic and violent opening, which was pretty cool. Story was good, told a lot of back story of a few different lanterns such as, Avra, Kilowog, Laira, Mogo, Abin Sur.
So basically this film was just a back story telling, to give you more on some of the lanterns history. With a small little story to tell in present.
Music was also pretty good, like the First Flight, helped move the film along nicely.
Only thing I didn't like with this one, is that not one person from First Flight came back to lend there voice, isn't that of a deal, but it would of been nice to hear the other actors than these ones, some of the voices to me, didn't really match the Lantern they were portraying.
Artwork/Animation was also pretty good, but it really wasn't as good as the previous one, the animation they used looked like an older style, and just outdated, but still looked good.

One thing I liked about it, is that I recognized most of the actors, which is a good thing. The story was pretty funny, keeping me oddly entertained till the credits.
I liked that Mike Judge made this film, you could tell that this is his film. He even makes a minor role in the film, very similar in the way he was in, Office Space.
Soundtrack in the film was barely there, with just a few songs, which didn't bother me, since this was more of a comedy and didn't really need many songs. The odd story and good acting is what kept me hooked.
If you liked anything by Mike Judge, then you will most likely love this film. Some elements of, Office Space can be found, mainly in the humor, and the type of story.

Green Lantern: First Flight
Hal Jordan is in a flight simulator, when suddenly the flight box gets air lifted by a green orb, once on the ground he sees an alien and offers help, but the alien, Abin Sur says its to late, the ring chose you. The ring clings to Hal and he becomes, the new Green Lantern. Just an hour or so later, a few different Green Lanterns come down to see who the new recruit is, and aren't happy. The Guardians decide to give Hal a chance and have, Sinestro be his mentor. Sinestro and Hal go to another planet to find the person who killed, Abin Sur. They eventually find him and pursue him till he's captured. Sinestro wants to learn the location of the Yellow Battery is, to use it, and become more powerful than anyone in the whole galaxy. Hal soon learns this and tries to convince other lanterns of his deception.
For a cartoon film being only, 1hr and 17mins. They sure did a good job, and retelling the story of Hal Jordan as, Green Lantern. Voice acting was pretty good, with actors you may recognize.
Animation was also pretty good, a-lot of epic explosions, a-lot of green, and a massive fight between Hal and Sinestro. That last end battle scene was just incredible looking. They really did a good job making this film.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was so short. They could of easily made another 20-40 mintues of story, to help fill some holes that were left. They didn't really show Abin Sur's final scene, they did show it very quickly later in the film, but it would of been nice to see it before, rather than later.
This film is basically a summed up version of the live action film that just recently came out, over an hour shorter, but if, your a fan of green lantern, you would most likely like this film. The soundtrack is pretty good, made it run smoother.

The Green Lantern
Hal Jordan is in the Air Force, after crashing a brand new fighter jet, he ended up on suspension. Before that, an alien, Abin Sur, crash lands on earth after getting attacked. He sends the ring to find Hal, to become the new, Green Lantern. After pledging the oath to the Lantern, he gets shipped off to the new world, and gets suited up. He learns all about his ring and what he has to do. Hector Hammond is a doctor who is chosen to dissect Abin, after doing so, he gets exposed to something that, turns him into a crazy doctor. Hal finds out that, Parallax is going to destroy earth after Hector has failed him. It's up to Hal to defeat Parallax and save humanity.
I tired doing this as spoiler free as I could, but then there wouldn't be much I could say for a plot, so, there it is.
Acting in the film was actually fairly good, with a decent soundtrack that really gave off the hero theme good. Effects were just overwhelming. With around 80% of the film being CGI, not really a bad thing, but wow, some scenes made it look like I was watching a cartoon or video game, which kind of hurt some of the scenes.
Humor in the film made it give off the whole, were trying to not be to serious, but just enough to be good and not suck so bad.
Seeing all the other Lanterns on screen was pretty awesome, though only a few of them actually said anything, I did wish that the other Lanterns had at least one or two lines, but since not, oh well. We did get to see, Sinestro, Tomar-Re, and Kilowog. We did get to see at least 100 different Lanterns, but only three did anything other then yell out, lantern.
This is really the first comic-book movie that I've seen that I never read or watched any type of cartoon movie. Couple months ago I did watch the First Flight film that was a cartoon and really grabbed my interest for Green Lantern, so that was the only real background I had with this.
Not everything was bad about this film, but you may find some things bad or just, odd that didn't quite fit right, or maybe to much humor. Or overwhelming effects, though they did look awesome, might have been a little to much.
There is also going to be a sequel, the end-credit scene showed...can't tell, way to big of a spoiler. But yes, I am looking forward to seeing a sequel, to me, this film was pretty good, not as good as other superhero films to have come out, but not bad either.
I give, Green Lantern, 8/10

Drumline
Devon just graduates from High-school with a scholarship in Marching Band, once arriving, sees the "Drumline" and thinks it will be easy. Devon soon meets up with, Dr. Lee who as won many awards in being the best Drumline in state, or Nation. Devon ends up making it on the Drumline as a P1, the only freshman do ever do that. After alot of hard work, alot of struggling and being kicked off, who gets a shot to get back on, and compete in the, BET Big southern Classic, and a shot of glory and huge bragging rights!
I was very impressed with this film. The acting was pretty good, the story was entertaining, and the music was amazing. Makes you wonder if there actually playing, or just moving with the music.
This film isn't actually based on any real events like I once thought, but the story is based on a High-School drumline, makes me wonder how much of this film is based on the school.
The drama in the film was really good, kind of stuff that can get to you, and make you feel really bad for the character. Some of the romance in the film I could see them cutting, but, yet, I can see how it works fine. Only a few scenes that were like...ok? but other then that, the movie was really good.
I ended up watching this film while I was actually in band in middle school, and thought it was a pretty good inspirational film to watch givin my situation. Helped me get through band class that much better!
I give, Drumline. 7/10

Cool Runnings
Irving is a once popular couch in the Bobsledding, he end up leaving the US after being proved to have cheated in the last Olympics. Years later he goes to, Jamaica in hopes of finding a new team to compete in the next Olympics, only for the gold medal. He soon meets a new team former Olympic track runners. They get together and start training to compete in the next Olympics.
This film was actually kind of funny, despite me having seen it at least 2 dozen times since I first saw it. Doesn't really get old, just can't watch it to often.
This film is based on actual events, just not the ones you wan't it to be. But non the less, it's still a pretty good movie, about being a no body at what your doing, and soon be all stars.
I did wish that this film was longer, and maybe have more film, since it's only 98 minutes, kind of short, they rushed a lot of stuff, right when it was getting good, it was over. That was really the only downfall is that it should of been longer.
Acting was decent. I think all actors were from Jamaica if not then they pulled off there accent pretty good. Music was decent as-well since most of the music was Jamaican, was nice to hear it.

Another Adam Sandler film with practically everyone from all his other movies, with just a few other new actors. Acting was semi decent, with humor that was kind of dull and out dated. Humor seemed like it's been done alot, and overrated.
Plot was just, ok. Could of been a lot better, but, I guess it was fine with what was going on.
Just not much more I can say about this film, other than it was just an, ok movie.

Spider-Man 3
Final film in the series ends with a bang.
Again we meet Peter being Spider-Man, but this time, he has things more or less under control, he gets to school on time, has a girlfriend and the city is finally loving him. He ends up getting attacked by, New Goblin, who wants Spider-Man dead. After a awesome air battle scene, New Goblin gets almost killed and his memory lost. Mary-Jane is having a hard time with all the fame that Spider-Man has, and is living in his shadow, she starts to question there relationship. During all of Peter's happiness, a new villain is accidentally created, The Sandman. After Peter finds out that the killer who killed, uncle Ben is still out there, the Black Symbiote consumes him and he becomes, The Black Suited Spider-Man, who has more power, stronger, faster, and starts to become evil, after he gets rid of the black suit, the Symbiote finds a new host, Eddie Brock Jr and becomes, Venom. Venom hooks up with The Sandman, and decide to take down, Spider-Man together.
What a movie! For being the last film, they sure pulled out all the stops and made the best Spider-Man movie yet, well besides the first one. Ton of villains, story line that was awesome and dark. Some humor really kept me very entertained.
We get to see, The Sandman and Venom in it, both of which, looked awesome. The CGI on sandman was just incredible, you got to see every tiny grain of sand move, very detailed. Venom looked awesome as-well, seeing him be Venom was just epic.
Just a one thing or two. We only got to see Venom for only around 15 minutes, out of 2hrs.20mins. They should of maybe had the Venom story quicker and longer, but they did it fine, so, can't complain to much. Also would of loved to see, Peter wearing the Black Suit longer to, seeing him be more odd and dark was kind of cool. Even though he jammed out to 70's disco and starts dancing in front of people, was funny to watch though.
Is a shame that this is the last time we will see, Toby be Spider-Man. They did plan to make, Spider-Man 4 and 5 back to back and release them a year apart and have 5 be the last one. They planned on having (if i read right) Vulture and Mysterio in the 4th alone, or spread out, also, Lizard, and who else knows. Would of been nice to see Mysterio, since he's my favorite Spider-Man villain...ever!
This is a must see for all, Spider-Man fans. Even though this marks the end of Toby's take on, Spider-Man.

Devil
Devil is about, 5 strangers getting trapped in a elevator, it ends up stopping, trapping them all. Lights start flickering scaring them all. Building security learns that all them have bad pasts, one of them thinks that the devil is in there with them taking the shape of a human, one by one they all die, revealing who the devil is at the end.
Hm. It's about time that a, M. Night Shyamalan doesn't suck, for once. Only one of his films I actually liked and creeped me out was, Signs. That was years ago and many films ago.
Effects weren't bad, since there wasn't very many. Acting could of been alot better. Since it was only 80minutes, there was really no room to have good acting.
Story did keep me kind of interested, wondering who the devil is, and what's going to happen next. Better choice of actors could of been good to, since, I only recognized one actor in the whole film, from that, I knew it wasn't going to be that good.
This is a film in the, The Night Chronicles trilogy, which means two more, but, not Devil 2, but a new supernatural horror film, I don't know if they will continue each other, or not. Still kind of early. Also, a third film was confirmed to, which the story is going to be based on the, Unbreakable sequel, that never happened.
With a somewhat decent story, and semi good acting, I guess you should watch it. Since, this is finally, one of Shyamalan's better films.

Take Me Home Tonight
Matt wanted to impress his middle school crush, instead of saying he works at the video store and lives with his parents he lies to her, saying everything opposite. Matt hooks up with his friend Barry, who the two decide to steal a car that has coke in it, and go to a party, then its just a series of wild events that unfold, since they decide to just do, and not think.
Well, this film was ok. It had its moments when you should laugh, feel bad for the person, or a blank stare. Acting was semi-decent. Hard to be good in a movie that's not the greatest.
Music was actually pretty good, since it's set in the 80's, all you hear is 80's music, which I love so, soundtrack was awesome.
Story line almost made me fall asleep, was just your typical, geek wants to fall in love with hot chick, and does stupid things to get with her, so, kind of fell flat.
At least with the film, there are actors you will recognize like, Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler, and ect.. So, good thing was it wasn't full of nobody's.
Just wish the story could of been more funny, and just stronger, all the other parts where fine, just the story, which is why it was hard for me to watch the whole thing.

Spidey's back! But for how long?
Peter Parker is well, Spider-Man. He is loosing his relationship between, Harry and Mary-Jane. Peter starts to loose his powers due to, him loosing Mary as a friend. Aunt May learns the awful truth behind the death of Uncle Ben. Meanwhile, Dr. Otto Octavius is building a machine to give renewable energy, but it fails and almost destroys the town. Otto becomes slightly insane and is now, Dr. Octopus. Otto plans on rebuilding his machine to destroy the city, Peter finds out, and tries to stop him before it's to late. With an epic battle at the end, all leaving you with, wow.
The main cast comes back to join us for a nicely done sequel, that left me, and as-well as many others, sitting on the edge of there seat.
Spidey's suit has changed slightly, not in the design but, color, the color is a lot more deeper and alot better looking than the first one.
The effects of, Spidey and Dr. Octopus were just awesome, this time, spidey does alot more web swinging and alot more fighting, with the tentacles of Otto looking very real, where you almost couldn't tell that they were CGI.
Soundtrack to the film, OST and other songs, fit so perfect, made for a very good soundtrack. Story was also very good, keeping you very entertained since there was a few twist's and turns keeping you glued to the screen.
This review is slightly based on the extended version, Spider-Man 2.1. Is only around 10minutes longer, but you see alot more fighting and well, everything. Makes the movie even that much better.
For being the first sequel in the series, sure does live up to all expectations you would have, and then some.

This review is slightly based on the extended version, Spider-Man 2.1. Is only around 10minutes longer, but you see alot more fighting and well, everything. Makes the movie even that much better.
For being the first sequel in the series, sure does live up to all expectations you would have, and then some.
I give, Spider-Man 2. _9/10_

Paul
Two geeky guys, Graeme and Clive go to Comic Con for the first time in the US, after taking a tour of famous Alien sites, they end up witnessing a huge car crash, and then find, Paul, an alien who escaped Area 51 to go home. The three end up going long ways to, kidnap a women, almost get beat up by two hillbilly's and being chased by the FBI in one amazing chase.
Paul was very rude, crude, kind of sick, but very awesome alien. The CGI they did Paul with was pretty amazing looking. For once the alien didn't look like a cartoon.
All actors in the film were very good, and the best part is, you will recognize most of them, that is if you've seem in films that have them (obviously) but was very funny.
This film was a huge tribute to, Steven Spielberg, who was even in the film, sure was a small part, but still there. They did a lot of almost parodies of a lot of alien films, like, E.T, Close Encounters of the third kind, mainly those two, with a few others as-well.
This film was just very well done, with funny humor and good actors with impressive CGI, with a huge mothership that was just epic looking! Even a special actor that was in an alien movie from the 80's, who's appearance was pretty good!
There may be a possible sequel, the two main actors said they would love to do another film, but right now it's still way to early to tell if it's a green light or not. We'll see sometime, hopefully soon! Cause this film was just awesome.
I give, Paul. _8/10_

Serpico
Serpico is a cop who is by the books type cop, he joins the force at a fairly younger age, and learns that his police station is very corrupt, he busts a criminal while undercover, and the suits try bribing him, asking if they can have the call, meaning, glory. He decides to leave that station to join another, to find the same thing happening, he decides to go against the corruption and try to expose all the two faced people, he joins a off the records job, which is busting criminals without actually doing it by the badge. He nearly gets killed and exposes everyone who is corrupt.
Wow, what can I say? This movie was pretty damn interesting. The story was very strong, and that is based on true events, makes it that much more interesting and more shocking that this stuff actually happened.
Acting was just incredible, this film is one of the earliest films of Pacino that I've seen, and was just a masterpiece.
This is more of your, darker and more gritty police drama films, but it shows one guy that hates corruption and goes against it, which is just brave and incredible.
Soundtrack in the film was kind of loud, a few scenes the music kind of over powered the talking, but you could still here it, had a kind of police themed music throughout it, which was fine, helped sell it better.
Have to say this movie was just great, good acting, and a very strong story.
I give, Serpico, 8/10

How to Train Your Dragon
Hiccup is a teenage boy, son of a viking, who dreams of becoming a big strong viking. He ends up capturing one of the most fierce dragons, Night Fury, who he names, Toothless. He starts to be friends with Toothless, and learn how dragons are. Astrid soon learns that he's been sneaking off to help the dragon, Astrid becomes closer friends with Hiccup and Toothless. Hiccups dad finds out he's been sneaking off to be friends with one rather than kill it, and captures Toothless and uses him to find where the nest lies, only to stumble on the biggest dragon ever, where a huge fight takes place, that is pretty epic!.
This is I think my first animated review since, Shrek 4, and well, this was pretty good movie.
Loved all the actors that were in the film, and played a goofy character, there voice acting really sold there part. Effects or CGI was just incredible, sure, some of the Dragons looked goofy, but still, they looked awesome.
The score that we heard through out the movie was also pretty epic, was a cross between Irish music and adventure type music, which really helped sell the fighting scenes.
When Hiccup and Toothless where flying high in the clouds and seeing everything, was just incredible looking, the lighting was great, they really did a fantastic job and making it perfect.
This is the first dragon action movie I've seen and liked since, Reign of Fire, and that was years ago.
I did find out that there are going to be, 2 more sequels in the works, but not till 2014, sadly though...
This was just an impressive film and just not one to be missed despite how old you are. This is one for everyone.

Massive X-Men Movie Talk
Ever since X-Men, there has been alot of sequels. So far, there is the trilogy, two prequels and more to come.
FILMS OUT!

X2: X-Men: United 2003
X3: X-Men: The Last Stand 2006

Also, Wolverines Origin story is getting a sequel. As well as a new origins story, Deadpool is getting his own origin story, Deadpool origin story is going to begin filming in 2012, so im guessing its going to be a 2013 release, or maybe late 2012.
Deadpool may be called just, Deadpool, or, X:Men Origins: Deadpool.
Also, First Class is the first of a brand new trilogy, hurray for that one! But wait, another is still coming, X-Men 4 is still going to be made, whenever, but wait, X4 is going to lead into X5, im guessing there going to film back to back? Guess we'll find out in the years to come, or maybe later this year, who knows.
Films to come!
X-Men: First Class 2 (confirmed)
X-Men: First Class 3 (confirmed)
X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 (confirmed)
X-Men Origins: Deadpool (confirmed)
X-Men Origins: Gambit (maybe)
X-Men Origins: Storm (maybe)
X-Men Origins: Magneto (cancelled)
X-Men 4 (confirmed)
X-Men 5 (confirmed)
8 to come and 5 already out, total of 13, and who knows how many more there going to announce.
I did hear they planned to do a origins story of, Magneto, but since First Class is out, they did a back story on him, wasn't very big, but good enough to give you a origin story.
So lets see, that's 5 more X-men movies to come im guessing every 2 or so years. Starting with, wolverine 2, or what I've heard there calling it is just, The Wolverine.
I think it's safe to say, that with all of these X-Men movies, there will be a beginning and a end, just took a long time.
So within the next like 10 years, keep a look out for a lot, of X-Men movies!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Finally, the origin story of wolverine!
We meet Logan, who is around 8 when he first discovers he was bone claws. Logan and his brother Victor run away from home, and the two stay together through many wars. Somewhere around the Vietnam War, Logan decides to leave the group of special mutant group that, Stryker made. Years pass and Stryker comes and finds Logan to say the old team is dying off, and we can help you, he then gets his metal claws, he escapes the lab to figure out that Victor is killing everyone and now it's the two brothers face off, only to fight, Weapon XI.
Another awesome prequel, with Deadpool, Blob, Gambit, John Wraith. Effects for once weren't as great as previous films, but hey, we get to see Wolverine face off against Weapon XI.
Acting was decent, everyone did a nice job at there parts. I did wish that, Gambit had a bigger role, he was only in the film for all of around 10mintes, if that.
It would of also been nice to see, Brian Cox return as Stryker, would be been a better tie in, but, he didn't, so we had to see, Danny Huston as him, which was fine, he did a pretty good job, but Brian's version was a little big better.
I was kind of surprised at how long it took to make an origin film, almost 10 years since the first film, but better later than never. It did satisfy my need to know the origin of Wolverine without actually reading the comics.
This film is one to be seen, espcially if your a fan of the other X-Men films.

Clockwork Orange
Alex is an older teenager who still leaves with his parents, at night he goes around stealing, beating up old drunks, killing random people and raping women. After showing his crew who's boss again, his team decides to betray him and the cops eventually come and take him away. He convinces them he should goto a hospital for treatment, that "fixes" him. He then is convinced he is better or "normal" and months later is set free. After his friends beat him up near death, he is helped by a person, who after hearing him sing, remembers who he is, and drugs him and tortures him. He escapes by window, only to be in a full body cast for months and months, only to agree to some dudes terms in blaming the hospital and making him look good.
Well, this film was quite interesting, kind of sick and twisted, since the gang was just teenagers going around killing people and worse things. Acting was pretty good, with a nice list of actors and a pretty good and strong story that somewhat kept me watching it.
Said is was a Science Fiction movie but, I really didn't see the whole, Sci-Fi part of it, might of been something I over looked or something.
Since it was by, Stanley Kubrick, you know it's going to be twisted, but slightly good. I did like another one of his movies, The Shining. I think with, Clockwork Orange, it's best to just read the book and perhaps just, say no to the film.
Not saying it's bad or anything, it's just after the first 40mins, I was bored, and the film ( to me ) just kept dragging on and on. I was really losing interest in the film, which isn't a good sign. At least the acting and wonder how it ended was the only thing that kept me watching it.
It did make me search for the book, which I bet is better than the film, which that's always the case.
I give, Clockwork Orange, _5/10_

X-Men: The Last Stand (X3)
The third entry in the trilogy is by far, the most epic!
Scott is on the search to find Jean after hearing her in his head, only to of actually found her which sends Storm and Wolverine after Scott, to find Jean and bring her back to the school. Jean becomes to powerful for her own good, and leaves. Magneto and his team goes after Jean as well as, Charles, Storm and Wolverine and save her. Magneto creates his own army of mutants to destroy a new drug that completely destroys the mutant gene in the body, and makes them human. The X-Men decide to protect the drug hence creating a huge epic battle between mutants.
Finally, we see Beast and Angel, and a ton of other mutants with pretty awesome powers, but the other ones you see, are on the other team.
The effects in this film have tripled compared to the previous two, stepped up CGI and a lot more of it.
This film was a little more sad, as there was three deaths throughout the film, one of them kind of had it coming, but the other two was slightly unexpected.
Acting was done fairly decent, didn't really get better or worse, just the same, which was fine. The music score was pretty epic sounded since there was a lot more fighting scenes and just more epic.
The way they did Beast looked awesome, almost the same as in the comic books. Angel was also one not to be missed, seeing him fly through the air was nice to see. The ending left a huge cliffhanger, which was awesome, even though it was like 5 seconds. Just makes everyone want X4.
This does make for one hell of a trilogy, and should not be missed if your a fan of the, X-Men.

X-Men: United (X2)
2nd film in the ever so epic series, X-men.
We find Logan searching for the place where he was created, only to find ruble. Logan decides to go back to the school and reunite with everybody there. We soon meet Nightcrawler a mutant that tried to kill the president after almost doing it and getting shot, Storm and Jean got out and take him back to the school. Stryker decides to use his son, Jason to manipulate, Xavier in the killing of all the mutants, that was after drugging Magneto in giving him secrets. Magneto decides to help the X-Men in getting to Stryker stop and possible kill him, only to find that, Magneto has his own plans with Xavier while he's hooked to Strykers version of Cerebro.
X2, or X-Men: United is still my favorite X-Men films of the whole series. Has pretty good acting, a good strong story line with epic looking effects, and finally they introduce a new mutant.
We did get to see the students use there powers in the film, which looked awesome. As well as see Nightcrawler go around and teleport and leave a blue smoke behind.
I found that this film was rated R for the final cut, but decided to cut a part to bring it down to PG:13. I think they should of kept the original cut, could of been good.
The ending leaves you waiting for the 3rd film, because now Jean becomes, The Phoenix. We did see a little bit of Jean's powers becoming more powerful and more violent, but just a preview. Which still did look epic, as her eyes turned bight yellow, you knew she was changing into something else.
This film was pretty epic, had some awesome battle scenes and just awesome CGI. Should not be missed.

X-Men
Yes, I know, this isn't going in order, but. It'll happen.
Opens with Erik being separated from his mother, only to discover he has the power to manipulate metal. We see Jean Grey giving a speech to some form of government type, saying Mutants are safe, only to be criticized by, Senator Robert Kelly. Rogue ends up running away from home to go on a road trip to Canada only to run into Wolverine, to end up running into Sabretooth with ended with, Storm and Cyclops saving them and taking them back to, Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, where Wolverine joins the, X-Men, in saving NY from Magneto from giving everyone mutant powers.
This film is just great. You have a very good list of Actors/Actresses, portraying a very awesome Mutant/Villain or whoever.
For the film being released in mid 2000, it has some pretty good effects, means a bigger budget, Loved it when Wolverine showed off his claws, and with Storm doing her storm powers. Seeing Cyclops use his power for the first time on the big screen was pretty epic.
This does mark the first time X-Men made it to the big screen, sources date that, X-Men was brought up in 1989 to be made film, then kept being pushed till sometime 1998. Film turned out so good, that it spawned a bunch of sequels and prequels.
This film is pretty epic, and if you haven't already seen it ( I saw this 4 times in the theater ) then you should go and see it, especially if you like Marvel, or X-Men, or both.

X-Men: First Class
Here I bring you (Chronologically) the first X-Men movie.
In the start it opens in 1944 and we meet Erik who is only around 14, his mother is taken from him and we find that he has powers, ( which is almost the same opening as in the first X-men movie) and then a scientist, Sebastian Shaw who takes him and helps him make his power stronger, meanwhile, we see Charles Xavier who is around 9 who meets Mystique and the two become friends. Cut to around 20 years later, Charles meets up with an FBI agent to find these "special people" and then he meets Erik for the first time, and the two hook up to track other mutants. They have a small group of kids who have awesome abilities such as, Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy who is Beast, Sean Cassidy who is, Banshee, Alex Summers is Havok. Then we see an epic end battle where some long awaited questions are answered.
First thing's first. This prequel, was simply. Amazing. Had a fantastic storyline that finally answered some questions most people have had from the beginning.
Also had some pretty impressive CGI, epically with Havok and Beast. Acting couldn't of been better, I loved who portrayed Erik and Charles, but younger. They looked very similar to the older ones, and just did a good job at it. During the film, we also got to see almost a softer side of Erik, since before he met Charles, he was on the hunt for revenge, can't say why though, to much of a spoiler.
Seeing Erik use his power for good was nice for a change, also Charles helped him develop his power even stronger to point where he can lift a Submarine. Which was pretty epic looking on the big screen.
The only downfall I saw with this film was, that Emma Frost was in it, which was great, but she was like 30 kinda old. Since in X-Men Origins we saw Emma when she was like 16 and it took place after this film, so that didn't really make much sense, kept thinking perhaps is the mother, but it's not.
I was just very impressed with this movie, I've loved the series since I saw the first one, and this did not fail at all, if you love the X-Men, just what are you waiting for? See it!

See it!
I give, X-men: First Class. _9/10_

Spider-Man
Peter Parker was just your average high school geek, but when at a field trip to a laboratory that studies spiders, Peter ends up getting bitten by a special spider, who then wakes up the next day with extraordinary powers, but the same night a hero is born, there must also rise a villain, Green Goblin, Spider-Man goes around saving people and stopping muggers, eventually the two cross paths and battle it out to the death.
Spider-Man is by far my favorite superhero movie of all time. The acting is pretty good, the storyline is just great with extremely good CGI, and best of all, Green Goblin is in it, who is pretty creepy and insane. I've been a fan of Spider-Man since I was around 5 or 6, so my whole life.
Compared to the comic books and TV series, this does succeed in everything that makes Spider-Man awesome, from Peter getting bite, to the love story between Peter and Mary, and the conflict with Peter being Spider-Man.
Just is a shame that we won't see Toby Maguire return as Spider-Man he really played the part perfect. Instead they've begun a reboot that comes out summer 2012, kind of bullshit if you ask me. But, if you refuse to see the remake, good for you!, enjoy the real spider-man movies!

Scarface
Set in the mid 80's when Castro dumps of thousands of illegals in Miami, we meet, Tony, who is sent to a almost prison like camp. After doing a job he gets set free with his friend, he then soon meets up with, Frank, who helps him become more rich and powerful. After doing alot of dirty work and selling, he kills Frank to take his money and everything. He then rises to extreme power and a ton of money, after failing to do a hit job, his once friend, decides to goto war with, Tony. Then it ends with an epic battle.
Wow, I have got to say, this is by far my favorite movie....ever! Nothing about this movie sucks in the least bit. The acting is just incredible, the actors that are in the film do a fantastic job. The score in the film sets the mood, more of a dark tone and suspenseful music.
Most of the music is, 80's music which is fine, cause I love it. I love that they shot on location to make it feel more real. This is what happens when you let greed and drugs get to your head, this movie. The story line is just fantastic, it will draw you in and keep you hooked, despite the near 3 hours it is. The time goes fast where it doesnt even feel that long.
Movie was so good, that decades later they made a video game based on the end of the movie, serving almost as a sequel, givin that the end doesn't happen the way it does. Funny thing is, that there was going to be a sequel, called I think, Son of Scarface, they had actors/directer/everything, it was ready to film, then without warning it gets shut down. The company failed to get it passed on, so was canceled due to plagiarism.
If your a fan of, Al Pacino like I am, you will really love this movie. It's just about time this movie gets put on Blu Ray at some point this year it's coming out!
I give Scarface, 10/10
Yes, this serves as my first ever, 10 out of 10.
