Worst Movies of 2010

So, first off, I really didnt see that many bad movies this year, I tried to stay away from them, hence, not seeing many of them.
But there is a few that I did see that looked good, but sucked ass.
First off is The Wolfman (2010) version, this version sucked ass, nuff said.
2nd is, Titanic 2, had nothing to do with the 1st one, and was very, VERY bad.
3rd is,  MacGruber One, it just wasnt that funny, two i really dont remember it that good.
4th is,  Hot Tub Time Machine, it was funny in some parts, had good actors, but it sucked.
5th is,  The Killers, had some good acting, and good actors, but they tired and failed hard.
6th is,  Suppose The Last Airbender is number 6, But i just never saw it, it still is one my watch list, im just going by what everyone has said about it.

This is a Rap up of reviews of the year!! See you in 2011.

Firefox Vs. Google Chrome Vs. IE8

So, lately I noticed some glitch on firefox, on there latest version, when ever i do anything that uses Flash, it freezes, after doing many clicks, and moving the mouse its fine, but its still buggy. So then i reverted to IE8 but I hate internet explorer, for lack of features and overall suckyness.  So then a few days later, I decided to use Google Chrome, I've used it before, and forgot why I stopped using it, it's very fast, has many apps you can use, and it's bigger. To me it's a strong competitor to firefox.

So far Firefox, or Mozilla has still yet to have an update for it, to fix the problem. So, in the mean time, im using Chrome, I may just use it for good now. I havent seen any problems with it so far, and a few of my friends just love it.

Finale words. Fuck IE8 or IE9, well really all versions of Internet Explorer. And Damnit Firefox....So, Welcome Chrome.

Inception

One of my favorite movies of 2010. My review of....

Inception is about a group of people who enter your dreams, to extract certain memories or information, but then this group of people do one last job, where they have to plant a fake memory inside of a man, who will hopefully believe the lie, and they can leave safely.

This movie was pretty ODD, I heard that if you like The Matrix, then you may just like this movie, Well, this movie is as odd as The Matrix, but not anywhere near as awesome has The Matrix, I did see a few similarities but that was about it.

The movie did have a pretty good cast of actors that played there role just amazing. Inception was pretty long of a movie, with it being around 2 hours and 30mins, and felt like it lasted around 4 hours.

The movie was kind of slow in the start, and left you with a TON of questions, with only a few questions actually answered throughout the whole movie.

Like this question. What was that machine they used to enter your dreams, They showed you the machine, they told you the name, but they didn't go into detail on how it exactly works. That was really the only question I wanted answered, but never did. All-well.

This review will be quite smaller compared to my other ones, cause so much happened in the movie, I would have to watch it again, to give a much more detailed review. but the movie was pretty awesome, and to me, was the best sci-fi movie of 2010, and possibly since the first matrix.

I give Inception
    8.5/10

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

The long awaited review, The one I was going to do weeks ago, but just forgot to. Now here is my review of....

The Sorcerer's Apprentice is about a very good sorcerer, Balthazar Blake who has been in a long battle to capture the evil,  Maxim Horvath. Who along the way has been trying to find a special kid, who is capable of wearing Merlin's Ring who will then, take down Maxim, and the most evil of them all, Morgan le Fay.

This movie is great, first you have, Magic, awesome action throughout the whole movie, some good comedy moments, and very good acting from all the actors in the movie.

The CGI in the movie was so good, it was crazy good. I almost thought for a second that they were really doing the magic tricks and stunts, but then I went, oh yeah. It's just a movie.

But a very good one. So that's really the only thing that matters.

The movie isn't a direct remake of the classic movie, Fantasia, but a lot of the same elements that are in Fantasia, are in this movie. Which worked out perfect. There is one scene from Fantasia that is in this one that is identical, just not animated, live action instead.

The ending, more like after credit scene, left us going, SEQUEL, but it's still way to early if they are still even considering it, but the scene was pretty clear that "oh...spoiler..." never mind.

I forgot I try not to say to many spoilers, cause then someone might not like if they read it before watching the movie. But then you gotta think, why read a review of a movie, that you haven't even seen yet. Duh...

Again, this movie was perfect in almost all aspects of the movie. Good acting, great effects, and very good story line kept me wanting to watch more of the movie, maybe even go out and see Fantasia and Fantasia 2000.

              I give Sorcerer's Apprentice
                         8.5/10

Jonah Hex

Here it is. The one movie I promised I would never watch. Only because I only heard bad things about this movie. Note that if you hate this movie. Don't read my review.

Jonah Hex is about a former Civil War solider who ended up messing with the wrong person, who then killed his family, and left a horrible scar on his face. He then becomes a bounty hunter and learns that his old foe is still alive and decides to get revenge.

The movie is based on a pretty good selling comic book of the same name, I never read any of them, but I just kept hearing good things about the comics.

I like how it takes place in the west during im guessing the late 1800's. The action in the movie was actually pretty good. I liked it anyways.

The script wasn't the best out there, but it was not that bad, all the actors that had a big role had some witty comments and good lines throughout the movie.

I was surprised that say, 20% of the movie was humor, most of what Jonah Hex said was something funny or witty, which made the movie go a lot better.

And we can't forget the the actors in the movie, Megan Fox played his long time love if you will in the movie, and she also has quiet the punch to her to. Also it has John Malkovich has the lead bad person in the movie, who also was the one who gave Jonah his scar.

It was just nice seeing recognizable actors in the movie, and not one where your going, who's that? this isn't one of those movies.

I kept reading online about how bad and terrible this movie is, and well. I beg to differ. I'm guessing all the people that hated this movie are comic book nerds who need the movie to be exactly like the comic, but that WILL NEVER HAPPEN. So, I figured if a guy like me, that never read the comics, may just like the movie, since I can't compare the movie to the comic. Well, I was right. I actually liked this movie.

I would watch this movie again, to me it was pretty well done, with good acting and awesome looking effects throughout the movie.

                                                       Jonah Hex gets a--

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

I was going to save this one for Thursday, but I figured what the hell. Here is my review of...

Scott Pilgrim is a 22 year guy that is in a band, after falling in love with Ramona Flowers, the heat is on, not between them, but between Ramona's evil ex's. He must go into battle with not 1 or 2, but 7 evil ex's.

Matthew Patel, Ramona's first evil ex
Lucas Lee, Ramona's second evil ex
Todd Ingram, Ramona's third evil ex
Roxanne "Roxy" Richter, Ramona's fourth evil ex
Kyle and Ken Katayanagi, Ramona's fifth and sixth evil ex
Gideon Gordon Graves, Ramona's seventh evil ex

All of the ex's have a different fighting style and or power.

This movie had some really good action scenes with very good special effects, and awesome sound effects, that sounded and looked like I was watching a video game, brought to life.

Scott Pilgrim also had some pretty good actors to portray both the main characters, and Evil Ex's. What I found funny was two of the ex's were both in super-hero movies, one as Super-Man, the other as Human Torch now as Captain America.

I still have yet to actually read the Scott Pilgrim series, but I heard that they were pretty good, so I'll read them sometime in the future.

I really loved all the humor in this movie, the script was pretty well done. The actors did a good job at selling the part.

This movie also had a TON of blu ray extras, I didn't watch all them I only watched the Deleted Scenes, and Bloopers, then I went to sleep, but there was so much more on the disc. This is definitely one movie you should watch, over, and over. You won't regret it.

With that being said, I give Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
                                       7/10

Knight and Day

Alrighty, I am back with regular reviews. Consider the 4 previous ones bonus reviews.

Knight and Day is about a Spy type person named Roy who is protecting a kid genius from Spanish bad guys from getting his new battery. Along the way Roy meets a woman named June who has nothing to do with him protecting her other than being at the right place and the wrong time.

This movie was very well done. It had a nice balance of action scenes mixed with humor and the occasional romance scene, when all is combined, makes one hell of a movie.

This movie had the best script and dialogue I've heard in a movie in quite some time. Smart witty and funny lines were used throughout the whole movie, which kept my interest.

The only thing I had some confusion with was, they never said exactly what Roy's actually job title is, could of been like, CIA, or anything really, but then they did, and made it just kind of confusing, but in the end of the movie, it all made sense.

This movie finally has good actors, good script, and very good action scenes, including an awesome chase scene, even a bull running scene, which was kind of humorous.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz work just perfect in this movie. I don't know if I could come up with another perfect pair. Just wouldn't be the same.

I'm still wondering why I never saw this movie in theaters, this was one movie that should not be missed.

                                                                              Knight and Day
                                                                                      8/10
For just being an awesome movie.

I would say more about this movie, but then I would be spoiling most of the movie. So, I just summed it up.

Tootsie

The 4th and last review of the day, and by far, the best review of the day.

Tootsie is about a middle aged actor who is struggling with finding a role in about anything, even commercials. He then try's out for a show and gets rejected before even getting an audition. He then comes up with the brilliant idea to dress up as a women and go and try out for the same show, after getting the role everybody loves her? no him. He then figures he can't be playing a women the rest of his life and decides to come out on LIVE t.v.

This movie is to me the best movie of its genre. Tootsie has some very good acting from Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange with a few good supporing actors from Geena Davis and Bill Murray who play's his roommate.

Tootsie had some very..VERY funny humor from just about all the actors in the movie. The script was very well done, had some great character progression.

Most the humor was either dark or dry, and a few laugh out loud moments. He does play a very convincing women. I just wished there was a full scene with him coming to the conclusion to become a women, and also put the whole look together. Since they didn't have that they kind of just skipped right to him being a women, which wasn't bad, but just felt like they should of have a few more scenes before it.

This movie is older with being made in the 80's but, aren't most good movie's in the 80's? What can I say about this movie that isn't a massive spoiler? Damn, I can't think of any.

This movie does remind alot of the movie, Juwanna Mann. Which came out early 2000's, and was funny, but not that funny, which made me think that the makers of Juwanna Mann came up with the idea from watching this movie, because a few scenes in Tootsie were in Juwanna Mann. If you had to choose, I would say no other than Tootsie. While Juwanna Mann is funny, the movie just got a little old after a while.

I would defiantly recommend this movie to, practically anyone.  So, What are you waiting for, watch it!

                                                                  I Give Tootsie
                                                                        9/10

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Review 3 of 4 of the day. I did not intend to do a review of this movie, but, I figured I watched it last night, and what the hell. So here is my review of...

Eclipse takes place I'm guessing moments or months after New Moon. Again we find Bella struggling to make up her mind about Edward or Jacob all while being hunted by what looked like rouge vampires but really there just newborns. We find the cullens making a hard but wise choice in training the Werewolves to prepare for the epic battle.

Vampire Vs. Vampire Vs. Werewolf? Yes. That is in the latest installment. I was actually impressed with Eclipse with the action and the scrip and music as well.

Like the other ones all the actors return to reprise there role in being either vampire or werewolf, or human.

The story is pretty well done, the action scenes were worth watching and the love conflict between Bella and Edward and Jacob was finally a little more toned down than the previous two.

I was impressed with the final battle scene and Bella wanting to become...Oh wait. That would be a spoiler. This movie actually had more humor in it that the other two, which was funny, made it more entertaining.

The effects were the same as the other two, but it still somehow kept my attention. This 3rd installment is  the best in the series with a epic battle and more humor, and no stupid high school life.

I say if you are a fan of the books you might have to see this movie. It was actually done well.

                                                               My score for Eclipse is:
                                                                            6/10

The Expendables

And here it is, Another review of the day. But this one is I think the 2nd best one I'll be doing. Yes I said 2nd, there is one that is just a little better.

The Expendables is about a bunch of Mercenaries about 6 that are off on an island that are trying to make some peace. Before there mission is over one of there own decided to turn his back on them and give in to the bad guys. After doing so, the team takes a mission from an unknown to take down a dictator and make the country more stable.

This movie has a WHOLE bunch of actors, they may not be the best actors ever, but I recognized all but like 2 actors in the whole movie, which to me, is a really good thing.

This movie is one hell of an action movie, a whole lot of explosions, ton of different guns, and a lot of knives. If your looking for a big BOOM movie, this is it.

The Actors include,
Sylvester Stallone
Jason Statham
Jet Li
Dolph Lundgren
Eric Roberts
Randy Couture
Terry Crews
Mickey Rourke
David Zayas
And many more other actors that you will know.
Yeah, this movie has a bunch of actors you will know.
The script in the movie could have been a lot better, it felt kind of dry and dull, but the story was pretty strong, and the action made up for the lack of a good script. This is finally a action movie worth watching, just the script is what brought it down a few notches.

There was one problem I had with the movie, but that would be a spoiler, but I can say it without giving away to much info, there was one actor that I love in this movie, that I thought would be kicking ass like he did in movie before it, but he didn't do anything, but sob about the past, which only made me feel sorry about him and almost shed a tear with what he was saying. But that aside, still a good movie.

                                                                      I Give
                                                              The Expendables
                                                                      7/10

Vampires Suck

Here I am, Back with more reviews for the masses. This is like one of about 4 of the day! Yes, you heard right. I'm doing about 4 reviews back to back to back...to back.

I start off the review party with one of the funniest parody movie's I've seen in a while with Vampires Suck.

This movie is largely based on the Twilight movie. Which is about time someone does a parody of the movie.

As with most parody's there really is no storyline since there really is no story to tell, just spoofing the movie. So the movie is basically a bunch of segments that parody the movie.
Which to me, works out perfectly.

So, this movie is pretty funny, to me that is. Most of the other reviews hated this movie, but this is my kind of humor.

Twilight isn't the only movie it's parodying. They also throw in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, True Blood, Black eyed peas, Alice in wonderland, and many more little bits, that if you don't look closely at it, you may miss it.

But if you are one that is say sick of the Twilight Movies and is wanted a parody that has surprising good acting and good spoofs, id say watch this movie.

                                                                   I give
                                                           Vampires Suck
                                                                   6/10

Avatar Extended Edition Review

Well, Here it is. The Review of the Extended Edition of Avatar. Note- This review is for the Extended one, not the Re-Release version ( that will happen at another time) so, got it?

This is the new 3 hour cut of the amazing movie, Avatar. Everything you want, plus 16 minutes of even more movie. I only had one problem. The new scenes were so small, that you almost needed to watch the Theatrical Cut first then this one, to see the differences. But, there is a little bonus feature, where if you just want to see the new scenes you can. So it's more clear as to which scenes are new. Which helps.
The new scenes in the movie really made the movie come to life and make it like a whole new movie.

This collectors edition comes with three versions of the movie, plus over like 4 hours of behind the scenes of EVERYTHING avatar. Which is awesome. Months ago i did buy the regular 2disk edition of Avatar, just because I loved the movie, and was very disappointed that there was not one bonus feature. But now we have not 1 but 2 blu ray disks full of bonus features, and the wait was well worth it.

The only thing i want to know, is that. Is the extended the same as the Re-Release just with more movie, or a new thing by it self. I guess I'll know when i get to watching it.

The Re-Release will be up to, to give my opinions of it all, kind of like this one, not really a review on the movie, but more of a review of what you get when you buy the Blu Ray edition of it.

So I give Avatar Extended Edition on Blu Ray a nice
           _-9/10-_
If you like avatar then this will not disappoint you at all.

Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows Part 1

It's that time again. It's time for...Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Unfortounitly it is just part 1 of 2, but in six months, we will all get to see part 2.
This on like the rest of them take place right after the last movie took place. Again we follow Harry, Hermione, and Ron, while they try to seek cover from the Death Eaters. A wedding gets crashed, some lives are taken, and many people get hurt, and that's in the first few scenes in the movie.
The three main characters in the movie make some pretty hard choices to stick with harry and help him defeat Voldemort, And in some down they disguise themselves as other people and some rather funny scenes happen.

I have always been a fan of the HP movies, and an even bigger fan of the Books, and they did a great job at bringing the book to life. Like before, all the characters return. Even some of the Sub characters return to have a few minute scene. They only show Hogwarts in one shot, and forget about it but, all-well.

This movie had very, very good effects, a few scenes were BOOM in your face, that made me go..WOW, that is awesome. All the actors did a very good job (like before) at playing there character.

This one did offer up some new twists and turns, and answered some questions we were left with, with the previous movie.

This movie offered up some awesome everything, if you are a fan of Harry Potter like I am, then you should rush out there and see the movie right away.

I give Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows a
8/10
For it being just a little dry, and being just part 1, the real battle is in part 2.

Awesome Stuntages: Reborn

So, a couple days ago, i learn that my favorite server on all of SAMP, is being, REMADE, or there calling it, "Awesome Stuntages Reborn".
This is either a good thing or a bad thing. On there offical site, most of the users want the new server to be the same in every way, and i think the dude that's doing it, is actually listening to them and may just remake it in the same way the original was.
It's still under construction but when it's playable, it may be just the best thing ever. By the way, the image above is the new logo, it only looks promising to a great new beginning.
The new site is now -Awesome Stuntages new site- where you can read all the new updates and what all the users are saying what should happen, and you will have to, rejoin to talk, as all the old accounts are dead. But soon I hope very soon, it will be up and running!! I cant wait.
I'll post again if something happens that's a big improvement or when it's open.

Pre Talk: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

On November 27th my review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be up, and I can not wait for this movie to come out, I've been a long time fan of the Books, and then the Movies. Hell even the Video games based on the movies weren't that bad. This movie has to much hype around it, it's scary, I just really hope this movie delivers like the last six movies did.
Will be seeing it in regular 2D but still this movie is going to kick ass. just hope it doesn't get boring. The other ones didn't so this one shouldn't.
SO, yeah, next week I'll put up my review.

Death of Awesome Stuntages

So, a couple days ago (well actually just yesterday) I found out that my favorite server and to me the best server on San Andreas Multiplayer is now...Offline for good. I found out why. The maker of the server decided to just give up the server and give the scrips to anyone willing to Remake the server. I don't know why he or she would just give up the script to just anyone. I mean if someone does Remake the server, it wont be the same, unless that someone has been a fan of the server since the start and knows how to make it the same. It just saddens me to know that my favorite server is gone forever. I was wondering why the server kept coming up as unresponsive made me wonder, but know i finally know why, its because of someone not caring anymore. Well, it's time to find a new server.

Jackass Boxset plus Lost Tapes

Last week, I went to the store, and to my surprise I found Jackass The Boxset. I was very shocked to find it, since I've been looking for this collection for some time now, and the store just happen to have it.

This boxset comes with EVERYTHING. Season 1,2,3 of Jackass, but not in the same format of the show, just clips of all the stunts they do, but it's still all the same segments that were in the show.

I loved the series jackass, and if you love the series like me, buy it, you will not be disappointed.
The same day I found the boxset i happen to find The Lost Tapes as-well. This isn't a boxset just a single disk, but there is i think over 2 hours of stunts they did, that never made the final cut of the series.

I do also have Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number 2, and Jackass 2.5. All three unrated. The only one i need is Jackass 3, but that wont be out for awhile now.

I did here there is going to be a Jackass 3.5. Is all the stuff that never made the final cut of the movie, much like Jackass 2.5

This boxset and lost tapes, does indeed complete my collection of Jackass.

Avatar Double Review

Coming in two weeks, is the Double Review of Avatar and Avatar Special Edition. For obvious reasons I have to wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray. I never went out and saw the Re-Release of it, But that's fine. I did do a very tiny review of Avatar months ago, but it wasn't a full one. So when I come back, I will do both the Theatrical Edition and the Special Edition not the same day, but the same week, so it will be a big Avatar week.

Hiatus

Well, I'm on a slight "hiatus" just for the time being, as I am all of a sudden busy, but normal movie reviews "should be" up and running in two weeks. That date would be -11/23/10. That will mark the return of my reviews and other stuff. So I suppose this is goodbye till then.

Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer

Lets See. Good acting? Check. Good Story? Check. Old school effects? Check. Somewhat Decent actors? Check. Awesome looking monsters? Check.

Monster Slayer- Is about a guy named Jack, who is a plumber and one day while on the job he hears about a legend about a house that is filled with evil. Days later his Science teacher becomes an evil monster and is creating little demon monsters and it's up to Jack to stop them all and become a Monster Slayer.

The only actor i knew in this movie was Robert Englund, but that's fine. This movie had a pretty decent story line, filled with somewhat good actors playing there part pretty good.

The effects in this movie, were very very old school, they used molds for the monsters, pup-petering, Some stop motion here and there, some of the effects they used have been around since about the 60's if not before that, but that made this movie just more awesome.

I loved how all the monsters were very unique and awesome looking. They really spent there time with coming up with cool looking monsters.

This does look like a hollywood B movie, and it is, But!!! it's an awesome B movie, that should be watched at least once.

I found this at a video store for only a few bucks and decided to buy it, it looked strange at first, but i figured what the hell. This movie didn't disappoint at all, kind of slow at first, but once the main story gets going, its a gore action monster killing movie.

Monster Slayer IMDB link

UPDATE** I just read that a sequel is in the works!! so im guess in a year or so.!!

I give Jack Brooks Monster Slayer a _-6.5/10. Was very good for a B movie, but it did have it's weakness.

The Social Network

First thing's first. This movie was very well done.

The Social Network is about a college student who is helping two other people at creating a social college website. He in the end, end's up stealing there idea and pawning it off as is own.

The story of this movie is very well done, great acting, very good actors in this movie who play the there parts just perfectly.

The only thing I want to know is how much of this movie is actually real, i did some digging to find very little, but it is just a movie.

I knew that Facebook was stolen but i didn't think the guy went through that much to make the site.

If you are a Facebook user like millions of other people, you might of known it was stolen, but this movie explains much more than most websites do.

This movie really does make the real owner of Facebook out to be an asshole, but he did what he had to, to get a website.

If you haven't seen this movie, i would say wait to rent this movie, its not the next hollywood blockbuster, but its not one to be missed either.

The Social Network IMDB link

I give The Social Network, a 6/10. Good acting and good story kept me interested.

The Matrix

Where do I begin? It's the Matrix after all. Do I take the red pill, or take the blue pill and just pretend everything is normal?

The Matrix I have to say, It is one monumental movie, and one very epic trilogy. But for now. I'm only doing the first of 3.

The Matrix, is about a lonely computer hacker (neo) who is desperate to find the truth about The Matrix, and find "Morpheus" The leader of the underground city "Zion".

Soon after getting a phone from Morpheus telling him to run because of the agents, he then meets Trinity. Who takes care of him after Neo gets reborn.

When there not being trouble by "sentinels"  they have to worry about "Agents" who are the bad buys in The Matrix. They decide to Neo on board to see if he can kill The Agents.

One note about entering The Matrix. If you die in The Matrix. You die in real life.

Morpheus has a strong feeling that Neo is " The One" and that he will bring peace and destroy the Machine World.

Lets start off first by saying "HOLY SHIT" with the acting. I don't think the acting could get any better. It does help that they have the perfect cast of actors to play the parts.

On another note, The effects in the movie were, just WOW amazing. It is a 1999 film, probably thinking, the effects are lame, but you are sadly mistaking. This movie has better effects than almost all movies to date. The sound effects are even better than a good chunk of movies.

I love the story behind this movie. You have Sci-Fi/Action/Adventure/Love/Mystery all wrapped up in ONE movie, it is truly amazing. If you still have not seen this trilogy, then you must go out and BUY it, not just rent it, or even go On Demand with it. I mean just flat out get it.

You will not be disappointed with the any of the films.

I give The Matrix a solid _-9/10-_ for just all over perfection

The Uninvited

Yes, The first horror/suspense Movie of the week, and I must say. It was a really good one at that.

The movie is about two sisters who live in the same house. The one sister (Arielle Kebbel) is the older sister is very close to the younger sister (Emily Browning). Anna, after the mother dies, goes away to a crazy mental place. To try to become sane.

She returns a few years later to find that, Dad has found a new girl in his life played by (Elizabeth Banks). After seeing her dead mother. She thinks that the new girlfriend is a murderer.

So she decides to do some detective work and try to prove that she is really the murderer and put her away.

The Story of this movie was very well done. Throwing a twist here, another twist there, and a very big twist there. With all the twists and turns it kept my attention very good. With not one ounce of boredom throughout the movie.

I love the whole, horror/suspense/WTF. type movie. This is a re-make but i think they did it very good. But i cant say that much since i never saw the original movie. links will be below.

The acting was pretty good for a shorter movie, with it only being 87minutes long. They crammed a lot in a short amount of time, but it perfect.

This movie actually has good/recognizable actors. If you are looking for a good horror movie, and haven't seen this one yet, then what are you waiting for, SEE IT NOW!!!

The cast of the movie Below-

Emily Browning as Anna
Arielle Kebbel as Alex
Elizabeth Banks as Rachel
David Strathairn as Steven
Jesse Moss as Matt
Maya Massar as Mom
Kevin McNulty as Sheriff Emery

My final score for _The Uninvited_ is a nice 8/10 for being very suspenseful and awesome.

X-Games 2010

So, I'm guessing your thinking whats with the sad face? Well, this year...I missed it. so, i can not do a little report on it. I was away while it was airing on tv. so...yeah.

All well, there is always 2011 one.

Titanic 2

Let this be noted. This is the first review I've done in quite some time. So, this might be very short.

This is the review of the most awful sequel.....ever!  Yes, I'm talking about Titanic 2.

This Isn't really a sequel but they called it one. This movie does actually have good story. -sighs- Here it goes.

One hundred years after the first titanic sank, some dumb rich kid decides to hire a bunch of people to rebuild the same ship, that will also sail the same course. Later one a terrible storm hits them and now the Titanic 2 is facing the same fate as the first.

The acting in this movie is just so terrible, the effects in it were so bad, you could tell you were looking at a computer image.
This movie is filled with no name actors, with the exception of ONE actor. The only good thing i can say about this movie, is the fact the story line is actually good, but then they just shot that to hell, once all the bad actors walked on screen.

If you must see this movie. Wait for it to be on TV. Don't ever rent/buy this movie. You will very much regret it.

I give Titanic 2 a very, very poor score of -2.5/10. If the story sucked anymore, then i would of gave it a 1.

Till next time.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Wow, this movie was really really...different! But not in a bad way, but in an awesome weird way!

This movie is about a guy named Tony that is left for dead, who then meets up with a travailing side-show called "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus " then Tony travels with them to help them earn money and become or popular. Only to learn that a "mirror" is a portal if you will, to the Doctors head, that can make you see what you want to see. When Tony goes through this mirror, he becomes a different person with a different personality, then when he comes out of the mirror he is normal Tony.

Johnny Depp plays Tony#2, Jude Law plays Tony#3 Colin Farrell plays #4. I really didn't this this movie was going to be that good, because Heath died little more than half way through. But i think that with the help of three amazing actors to help glue this movie together, they did a fantastic job.

The effects in the movie are just, weird and amazing at the same time. Better looking effects than other movies. This movie is somewhat colorful then it gets kind of dreary and dark.

This movie is not for everyone, but if you want to see Heath's last movie, then you must. It certainly did please and made me glad they made it perfect.

My final score is a nice 8/10 Nice effects and an awesome story.

The A-Team

Bonus review # 4 will be up this weekend. Here is the review for The A-Team.

Now, I havent seen the Tv series The A-Team, Ive only heard good things about it, but after seeing the trailers for the movie based on the show, i knew i had to at some point watch the series.

The A-Team is about four special op's guys who end up getting framed for something they had nothing to do with, then after breaking out of prison they regroup and try to find out who framed them and why, and while doing so making a lot of explosions and booms.

Liam Neeson Plays the character Hannibal- The man with the plan
Bradley Cooper Plays the character Face- The pretty boy of the group that can kick your ass
Quinton  Jackson Plays the character B.A- The Muscle of the group that is very strong
Sharlto Copley Plays the character Murdock The crazy man of the group (also my favorite one)

The actors that played in the movie did a very very good job at being awesome and funny and can kick your ass.

The story is very heavily hell bent on revenge and just wanting to know why. I even liked how two of the original Ateam actors were in the movie, only i recognized, but you had to look fast to see him.

This movie had a TON of explosions, gun fights, and an awesome tank flying scene. My favorite part of the movie was when they were all breaking out of prison.

This movie im guessing stayed very true to the T.V series adding more bang for your buck. I really loved the intro to the movie, there was so much action in the very beginning it was nuts. A few good plot twists kept me going well, what the hell?

I'm just so happy this movie turned out as good as it did, now its just a matter of time before they announce a sequel, because they kind of left it open for not one but maybe even two of them, yes im getting way a head of my self.

My final score is a nice 9/10 just a perfect movie, with really good action scenes, and very good acting.

Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time

This isnt the 4th bonus review, just the other i totally forgot to go last weekend.

Prince of Persia is heavily based on the widely popular and one of my favorite games Prince of Persia, finally the video game gets a movie. For years ive wanted a movie, and now the time is here. And now the review.

Prince of Persia is about the tale of Dastan  an orphan boy who is very gifted, who then gets the attention of the king, and decided to take him in as one of his own, hence he's a prince. Soon when he's an adult he is now leading armys to get there weapons and get stronger. Only to then find a special dagger that can control time with special sand inside of it.

Later on he then learns his uncle wants to dagger to go back in time and kill his brother so he is never to be king, so he can be king, Now Dastan has to keep safe the dagger and protect.

The effects in this movie are just wow, it is a little over the top CGI, but this is a big movie, not as big as say Pirates of the Caribbean, but up there with it.

The actors in this movie did a pretty good at portraying the characters, for once this video game based movie is actually worth watching and ill have to buy it when its out on blu ray!

The story is a little off from the video game, but they had to twist it to make into movie form. But it is very close to the VG.

The way that got Jake Gyllenhaal to look like Prince Dastan was awesome, he almost looked identical to the VG version of him. Everyone in the movie did a very good job at looking like the VG.

After this movie is by Jerry Bruckheimer so its going to be big, and heavily based on story and awesome CGI, and makes you wanted a sequel.

Alot of people are saying this is the "new" Pirates of the Caribbean, but that's bull shit. They are two completely different stories, in two whole different times.

This movie did kind of leave it open at the end for a part 2, which is good, cause there like 5 games. And i hope they make a part 2 cause i love the movie, and love the games even more.

If you havent seen the movie yet, id so go see it, cause there is a ton of awesome effects that will make you go OMG thats awesome.

My final Score is a nice 7/10 Some more back story would have been nice, and the CGI was very good, but more isnt bad.

From Paris With Love

And here is bonus review #3

From Paris with Love, is about a C.I.A Agent teaming up with a kind of loose cannon Agent to stop a Drug lord because that Drug Lord was giving kids drugs so potent it killed them almost instantly. Well thats what it appeared to be. Then we find out that the Drug lord is just a cover to stop someone much bigger and dangerous.

This movie had so many plot twist it was crazy, they make you think one thing, then another and another..and i almost got dizzy with all the plot twists. But it was very well done, that it didnt make the story get weak, actually make the story get stronger and stronger.

When i first picked it, i didnt actually know what it was about, i thought it was about a Hit-man in pairs or something like that, but i was wrong, and it was much better than i thought it was.

The acting was actually really good, felt as if the actors were giving it there all.

There was enough killings/car chases/and explosions that i was hooked. It was the perfect action movie of the year! And i loved the fact that it did not take place in the states, but in Paris, for once.

What else, hmm.. Was very good, if you like action thriller CIA movies, like say this one, than this is your kind of movie.

I give this movie a perfect 8/10 A nice action movie that so far the best one ive seen this year.

The Road

Here is bonus review #2. And it is a good one to.

The Road is a tale about a father and son going through the states to do down south to get free. Somewhat. On there way there they encounter murderers/cannibals/weird people/bad people/and somewhat good people/but mainly bad people. They run and hide and try to find shelter to make it though the night, and try not to get killed or ...eaten.

This movie was extremely dark and very depressing, but very good at the same time. This isn't the most colorful movie, it almost looked black and white, but its not. There is some kind of world disaster that happens, which turns everyone into savages and kill everything and everyone, even eat there own people, which was kinda sick to me.

The Acting in this move was just so good, i thought i was watching real people try to survive in a post-Apocalypse world. It was that good.

Most of this movie was green screen, but thats fine, it was done so good, i almost didnt even notice. till i saw the making of.

During the movie i was trying to figure out how its going to end, either both dying or finding freedom something like that. When it did end it actually brought a tear to my eye, yes the ending was very good, and sad at the same time.

The director of this movie also directing the movie There will be blood, and that movie kicked ass.

If you havent seen this movie, what are you waiting for, SEE IT.

My final score for the movie is, 9/10 very dark and sad movie, but i loved it.

Shutter Island

Oh my! Whats This? Another bonus review, Well, yes it is. This is actually 1 of 4 bonus reviews coming out boom, boom, boom. I rented four movies last night, and so far watched 3 out of 4 so ive been busy watching movies.  Here i go.

Shutter island is about a Detective and his partner going to a island to figure out where a missing person is, only to discover there is no missing person and everything is a lie. Yes i really thought this movie was a dream...

Well the plot was short...now my opinions.

This movie was very well done, the acting was very good, the story kept having some weird plot-twists every like 30mins. The Movie was 2hrs and 20mins, so kinda long, but it was not dull and boring quite the opposite. Every actor in the movie did a really really good job and drawing you in and telling a story only to twist it and make you go, WTF did i just watch.

Yes when i got done watching the movie, my mind was still trying to process what i just watched. But i was very impressed with the movie.

I really thought it was going to be a run-in-the-mill horror movie, but it is a weird detective story, the whole thing was just plain weird. The ending of the movie will make you go, WHAT? but it all made perfect sense, well not at first, but once you put all the pieces together then it will.

I was going to see this movie in Theaters, but figured maybe its a rent movie. And it kind of is, but not as well.

This movie is completely worth watching. You will get lost/confused/a little scared/ but mainly confused.

My final score for Shutter Island is a nice 9/10 yes it was that good.

Trailer Park Boys: Countdown To Liquor Day

I must admit, i am a huge fan of the series. I actually just got done watching the last season last week, yes i have the whole boxset! Im just so happy that everybody returned expect a couple, but thats all.

In this movie we find Juilen,Bubbles,Ricky getting out of jail, so the second they do, they rob a store, then someone gets the bright idea to rob a bank at the end, followed by an awesome chase scene, a big gun fight, kitties running free. And of course Mr. Layhe. Even Cyrus is pissed at layhe and decides to get him aswell.

I just love how intense the awesome the ending was, this was made in the same fashion as the TV show, which is perfect. I don't think this movie could have gotten any better.

This is just a little quickey review i didnt plan of going all out for it. But just to sum it up

I give this movie a solid 9/10 for being even better than the TV series, but nothing can replace Trailer Park Boys.

Shrek Forever After

Well, here it is, the final chapter in the Shrek Saga. We all knew it would come to an end, but when? i guess the time was this year.

In this movie we find Shrek kind of fed up with how his life turned out to be, he then finds a creepy little man named Rumpelstiltskin who grants him a new life on how he wants it, after a quick signature, shreks life turns into a new universe, where now the orgre's have come together to make an army, lead by Fiona, Donkey is a now a driver, and Puss in Boots gained a lot of weight.

After shrek realizes he mistake he tries to find Rumpelstiltskin  and reverse it.

This movie kinda felt short, with a run-time of only 90mins. It felt not like a sequel but more of a bridge from the 3rd to 4th to end, which isnt bad, but there could have been more comedy, and action like the other three had, i could tell they almost rushed a little and lacked in a few places.

But since this is shrek it was bound to be funny, since i have loved the Shrek movies since the 1st one, and none of them seem to disappoint. The 4th just lacked a little, but not so much that i wouldn't recommend it, you just have to like Shrek to like the movies.

I'm just the happy the cast came back to reprise the role, and the music was pretty good, gave off a good shrek feel to it.

Before Shrek 4 came out, i heard there was going to be a Shrek 5 as-well, but now the company has tossed the 5th movie, and just kept it the 4th, i want to know why. They could have easily make a 5th one to end or continue the series. We will just never know.

I give Shrek Forever after a nice 7/10 funny/music and story was all pretty good.

Review coming soon _-Robin Hood-_

Halloween 2

Yes, it's remake/sequel time. I'm talking about Halloween 2 no not the 80's version the 2009 version, which i must say was not the greatest sequel ever but at least the different kind of killings are good.

Halloween 2 takes place right after the events of the first movie, leaving the sister shaken and torn that she just supposesdly killed Micheal Myers, But she didnt. Plot: hmmm well again we find Micheal on the search for his sister to either kill her or no, but most likely kill her, as Micheal is on the hunt, the sister is going to major mental problems and is driving her self insane from all the stress of the first movie.

The movie ended really different, not at all how i thought it would end, but i guess it worked. Unfortunately i saw about 4 different horror movies inside of this movie, only with a different killers. Like Micheal's mom telling him what to do, i saw that in Friday the 13th, there's a scene that came straight from the movie Scream.

I didnt really like the story that much, much of the actors were B list actors that kinda went away. The script was very lame, they could have had a much better re-wright but didn't, all-well to late now.

At least with this movie the killing scenes were different than your standard hack N slash film. The kill shots were more disturbing than anything.

I guess you are a die hard Halloween fan, ( I liked the 1st film to me it was ok ) than i say go ahead and get this movie, to me its just a rent or wait for tv.

My final score for Halloween 2 is 6/10 generic/kinda lame, and weird twist at the end of the movie that didn't really fit the movie.

Where the Wild Things Are

Hello all, i didn't think i would put this review up so fast, but i am kinda rushing and bored to.

This movie is about a little kid that is like Bi-Polar with Anger Problems and is very very delusional. He is very very lonely and has no friends and often talks to the fence as if it were a group of people. He then later on gets into a fight with his mom, then runs off to who no where, gets on a boat and sets sail to an island that is quite large, only then to find strange creatures who are also very depressed and think the boy is there king and hope's he will save them and give them love.

Each of the creatures have different personalities much like people. But all are very much sad and lonely even though they have each other. Then the kid tells them to make a massive fort to protect them of all sorts of stuff, and then they get kinda suspicious of him and say he's no king, and after all that, they wish him good luck and he gets back on his boat and goes home, yes I'm purposely missing a lot in the middle.

Anyways, this movie is a lot  darker than i thought it would be. It was very much a depressing movie. But i guess if the kids like it then, they did there job.

The CGI in the movie was pretty impressive for a few moments i thought i was looking at a very large puppet or stuffed animal. I don't think the book was that depressing like the movie, but i don't remember the book that well either, as i was like 2 when my parents read it to me.

All in all this movie wasn't bad, but it could have been a little more up-beat and funny, i know the dirt war thing they played was pretty funny, but that was about it.

I give this movie a 6/10 could have been more up-beat..

Paranormal Activity

I have to say that this movie is one of the best scary movie ive seen in years and years. And i loved every minute of this movie.

This movie is about a couple that learns that there house or a certain someone is haunted with a past.  After the boyfriend buys a video camera, they learn the house is slowly becoming more haunted and fucked up in every way day by day.

The ending of this movie was pretty WOW, one of those endings you wouldnt really expect. Pretty dramatic and awesomely scary.

This movie does have some in your face scary moments but it's not one big boom horror. To me its more of a Mental Horror film, or a movie that slowly gets to you and makes you almost crazy. Well that's what my friends said, hehe.

The movie is a big budget film with only 15,000 budget but the film is not one to miss, with its scary sounds and shadows, just brings up some bad memories i had once buried and now surfaced.

Yes for about a year i lived in a haunted house, i heard voices and saw many shadows, and always felt like i was being watched or had someone right behind me. Sadly its still like that.

Anyways my final score for this movie is a nice 9/10 There could have been more of a script and more ahhh shots, But not bad of a horror movie. The best one ive seen in decades!!

Review coming soon -_Where the Wild Things Are_-

Push

And finally the new review ive said i would put up for almost a week, well here it is.

Push is about a whole bunch of people weather it be 1st generation or 2nd generation or maybe even 3rd generation of people that have powers or gifts or what ever you want to call them. The are being hunted and killed or tested on. All started during WWII when they took people with gifts and put them to work, and shit happens and you get this movie.

Movie revolves around a 2nd generation Mover, that has telekinetic powers that has fled to Tokyo and has been in hiding for years, until now. He soon gets greeted by "Division" a top secret group that started this program and is trying to capture all these people. After he has a little talk with them he then meets a girl, who then tells him what he has to do and they go from there.

Basically going to the bad guy, killing him to get this, trading this for that, and using there powers to get there way.
There are so many people that have weird powers, here they are as best of memory. Movers have telekinetic powers. Watchers can see the future. Pushers can put memories that aren't real in you head to make you think there are but aren't. Bleeders can send out high pitch screams that burst blood vessels so they can kill you.  And so on and so on, they did show you all of the different types there are but they didnt really tell you the proper name.

The Effects in the movie where kinda cheap but not bad. Acting could have been a little better but eh wasnt that bad. I just wished they had someone better than Dakota Fanning to me she is an over actor and can be replaced really easily.

This movie did leave it self kinda open for not one but two sequels. I could see them making a part 2 to continue the story, and a prequel to show nothing but back story and go into more details about the ability's.

This movie wasnt that bad, with a few more action screens and more back-story it could have been even better. But for what it is, its not that bad of a sci-fi action movie.

My final score for Push is 7/10 scrip could have been better and more action scenes isnt a bad thing.

Daybreakers

Whats this, the other bonus review, yep here it is.

Daybreakers is about an outburst of Vampirism ( yet they never really told how or where the disease came from ) and the human population is less than 5% making the whole world a Vampire world. There's a Vampire Army that captures the remaining humans. Vampire Cops that keep the peace by doing what regular human cops would do, but more worse.

Then we meet Edward Dalton ( Ethan Hawke ) a Scientist that is trying to make a blood substitute so that vampires wont starve to death. Yes he is vampire to. And he also wont drink human blood.

Later on he meets a hand full of human refugees that need his help, so he agrees to help him, and along the way he also discovers a way to reverse the Vampire disease and become Human again. Well i think i said to much, hehe.

This movie does take a lot old school vampire traits but in a somewhat good way, mixed with humor and blood and guts to keep a gore fan occupied, but this movie did lack a certain awesome vampire thing about this movie.

Anyways This movie was worth watching if your a Vampire lover, and just like a new twist on a very old story. The effects were alright. The Story was kinda predictible but there was one pretty big twist in the middle and end that made me go "awesome".

If your in the mood for a vampire movie that doesn't exactly suck with some good acting then rent this movie, it may not be a Buy but at least a rent.

My final score for this movie is 7/10 dorky/cheesy/bloody/ is what i liked but it wasn't my favorite.

Review Coming soon -_Push_-

Leap Year

A Bonus Review? I guess that is what it is, i didnt plan on reviewing this movie. But what the hell might as well, Push will be out this weekend. This is One of Two bonus reviews!..

Anyways Leap Year is a about a girl that has Irish background and decides to surpirse her soon to be husband in Ireland and propose to him.  Yes not him proposing to her but the other way around all well.

Once she gets to Ireland she ends up getting the worst luck anyone could ever get. People tell her its bad luck to pretty much do anything any day of the week, she doesn't believe it, but happens to actually give her to worst luck.

All of the funny parts from the trailers where within the first 30minutes and the last 1 and 20minutes was like a downhill bad luck parts. But it did keep my attention.

This movie may not be for most people, but if your a fan of the actors in the movie and need a good short laugh then id say at least rent this movie.

For what its worth i give it a 5.5/10 not bad but kinda predictable in most parts.
