Green Lantern: First Flight

Hal Jordan is in a flight simulator, when suddenly the flight box gets air lifted by a green orb, once on the ground he sees an alien and offers help, but the alien, Abin Sur says its to late, the ring chose you. The ring clings to Hal and he becomes, the new Green Lantern. Just an hour or so later, a few different Green Lanterns come down to see who the new recruit is, and aren't happy.  The Guardians decide to give Hal a chance and have, Sinestro be his mentor. Sinestro and Hal go to another planet to find the person who killed, Abin Sur. They eventually find him and pursue him till he's captured. Sinestro wants to learn the location of the Yellow Battery is, to use it, and become more powerful than anyone in the whole galaxy. Hal soon learns this and tries to convince other lanterns of his deception.

For a cartoon film being only, 1hr and 17mins. They sure did a good job, and retelling the story of Hal Jordan as, Green Lantern. Voice acting was pretty good, with actors you may recognize.

Animation was also pretty good, a-lot of epic explosions, a-lot of green, and a massive fight between Hal and Sinestro. That last end battle scene was just incredible looking. They really did a good job making this film.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was so short. They could of easily made another 20-40 mintues of story, to help fill some holes that were left. They didn't really show Abin Sur's final scene, they did show it very quickly later in the film, but it would of been nice to see it before, rather than later.

This film is basically a summed up version of the live action film that just recently came out, over an hour shorter, but if, your a fan of green lantern, you would most likely like this film. The soundtrack is pretty good, made it run smoother.
